Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is doing all he can do keep non-Massachusetts couples from getting married in his state. The law he has now chosen to begin enforcing again after it lied dormant for dozens of years is from 1913. According to Aaron Brown's News Night on CNN, the original intent of the law was to keep interracial couples from "flocking to Massachusetts" to get married because it was illegal in their own state.

How can such a parallel of prejudice and institutionalized discrimination not serve as a concrete example of the idiocy behind this debate?
